Join us as we welcome fellow CSSUG member and Microsoft Technical Account Manager, Chris Baker as he presents "Performance Troubleshooting using publicly downloadable tools."


Abstract: Chris will cover the history of performance troubleshooting tools and provide examples of using PSSDiag, SQLNexus and Performance Dashboard to resolve various performance issues such as blocking, high Disk Reads and high CPU.

 

Speaker's Bio:

Chris started his career at Microsoft ten years ago supporting SQL Server 6.5, 7.0 and 2000. He has been the Senior Technical Lead for the SQL Server performance team for the past several years and recently transitioned to the Technical Account Manager role.
